Rainbow Serpent Dreaming

The Rainbow Serpent is the creator of Nandyiinah Tia (Mother Earth). The Rainbow serpent is not male or female, but both. If you understand the true story of our creation you can understand yourself.

This painting tells the story of how the Rainbow Serpent created all the Mountains, Gullies, Rivers, Oceans, Streams and we are the Essence of them.

When I started this painting, the message I received was "the native flowers, leaves and seed pods are coming back". Now Lake George is full again after a very long dry time. Have a look it's true - Lake George now has water in it.

The Rainbow Serpent teaches us things about ourselves. Our emotions, good and bad balance, karma, Lore. Who we are, where we come from, how to sit with emotions, to be in touch with the land, animals, water ways, plants and yourself.
